AI Workshop – Using Artificial Intelligence Strategically and Practically
Many companies know that AI is coming. Very few know how to handle it, not technically, but humanly and strategically. AI workshops with the verrocchio Institute address exactly that difference. We build AI competency and applied knowledge in teams. And we help leadership teams align their business model with the reality of AI. Methodologically grounded, drawing on 1,000+ proven methods, 2,000+ international projects, and the experience of working with 25,000+ people across 26 countries.
What is an AI Workshop?
AI is not a purely IT topic. It’s an organizational and strategic topic that requires integrating collaboration between people and artificial intelligence. Employees need to understand what AI can and cannot do in order to use it meaningfully. Leadership teams need to understand how AI is changing their value creation logic, so they don’t drive into tomorrow’s future with yesterday’s business model. The verrocchio Institute facilitates and accompanies both.
We create the human and strategic framework that makes AI meaningful in the first place, through people who truly understand and apply AI, and through leadership teams who are strategically clear about what AI means for their business model.
In concrete terms, we work with two workshop formats depending on the starting situation: AI Know-How and Applied Knowledge for teams that want to become AI-competent, and AI and Business Model for leadership teams that want to understand which of their value creation logics AI will transform and what that means for their strategic positioning.
Who is it for?
AI Know-How and Applied Knowledge is aimed at teams and employees who are expected to work with AI tools on a daily basis but don’t yet have a solid understanding of their possibilities and limitations. At HR and L&D professionals who want to anchor AI competency as a strategic capability within the organization. And at leaders who want to bring their teams along into AI adoption without having to be technical experts themselves.
AI and Business Model is aimed at executive boards and leadership teams who aren’t asking “Which AI tools should we use?” but instead asking the more important question: “How is AI changing our value creation logic, and what does that mean for our business model?” Particularly relevant for companies where AI-driven competitors, automation, or new platform dynamics are putting pressure on the existing model.
Our Workshop Formats
No company is like any other, so we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all format. We always adapt length, depth, and methodology to your specific situation.
Half-Day Workshop (4 hours)
The compact kickoff for teams of up to 15 people. Focused on one concrete topic, with immediately usable results. Ideal as an entry point or as a complement to an existing event.
Full-Day Workshop (8 hours)
Our most-booked format. Enough time for a complete run-through: analysis, creative phase, evaluation, prioritization, next steps. For teams of up to 25 people.
Two-Day AI Intensive Workshop
The complete cycle: AI landscape and strategic orientation, systematic use-case identification, evaluation and prioritization by impact and feasibility, hands-on work with AI tools, and development of an AI roadmap with concrete next steps and responsibilities.
In-house, hybrid, or online
We run all formats at your premises, at an external location of your choice, or fully remote. The quality of facilitation and results stays the same either way.
Our Methods
We work with a variety of methods such as AI Card Sets, Use-Case Mapping, and AI Microtrends. They ensure that you don’t start with the most spectacular use case, but the right one, and that you factor in governance questions before they become a problem. More than 1,000 additional methods are available on our innovation.wiki, from which we combine selectively depending on your level of maturity.

What sets us apart from other providers isn’t the methodology alone, it’s the attitude. We work in the engine room of companies, where things get practical and where the new actually emerges. We don’t deliver presentations that end up on a shelf afterward. We work with you until the ideas are running.
Our name says it all: Andrea del Verrocchio was the teacher of Leonardo da Vinci, a master who didn’t put himself at the center but brought out the best in his students. That’s exactly our role in your AI workshop.
